Make your own Medicine Cards

The Alchemists considered the Sun to be a symbol for the Divine spark that lives in the human. How does the Divine appear in you? To you? Through you?

On the Summer Solstice, when the Sun lingers at the height of its potency, let us engage fully with our own inner light.

I am offering a workshop which is an opportunity to engage with the spark of the Divine as it lives you. We will utilize the process of Alchemical Art (transforming paint, junk mail, and random images into art) to create a personal divination deck or Medicine Cards. Participants are invited to pick a theme or symbol for their deck, such as a dream, animal ally, a myth or particular archetypal symbol. In a meditative atmosphere, we will reflect inward and invite the unconscious to guide us, revealing itself through the images that emerge. We will begin with a large sheet of paper and gradually break it down into a set of cards.
