More ceremony than workshop…
This gathering is a journey into cross species collaboration where kelp and human meet and co-create. A small gathering of humans (us) will gather with a small pile of kelp. Through embodied deep listening, we will open to the wisdom teachings of the kelp ~ This plant lived as an ocean creature until it was pulled by the tides and washed upon the shore, becoming a land creature dried by the sun. Imagine what wisdom it has gathered along this path of transformation.
We will ponder the impulses within our own being that long for such change. Through movement, sound and sincere hearts, we will seek to awaken the forces of transformation within. We will commune with the kelp and lend our human hands in order to help it transform one more time: from sun-dried kelp into a sacred rhythm maker, from unassuming beach stuff to ceremonial rattle. And we will seal our bond through a prayer dance of change – for ourself, for our planet and for all the creatures that inhabit it.
10% of proceeds will be donated to the conservation and protection of the kelp forests

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation for Studio One Events*
The following policies are not based upon the reason for cancellation.
One day events:
Cancellations received more than 7 days before the event, I will refund your enrollment fee minus a $40 administrative fee.
Cancellations received 7 days or less before the event: No refund. If I can fill your spot, you will receive a credit, minus a $40 administrative fee.
Multiple day events:
Cancellations received more than 45 days before a multiple- day event: Refund, minus a $40 administrative fee.
Cancellations received between 45 and 15 days prior to the first day of the event:
• Apply enrollment fee toward a future workshop, minus a $40 administrative fee
or
• Receive a refund minus a $200 cancellation fee.
Cancellations received 15 days or less before the first day of the event:
• No refund. If I can fill your spot, you will receive a credit, minus a $100 administrative fee.
