Coming Home: Alchemical Art, Cannabis and Breathwork
The first act of our incarnation is to inhale the breath of life.
The last act of a lifetime is to exhale.
Between these breaths, a life is lived. We create an identity, build up defenses, perhaps find purpose or search for love. And then there comes a time where the strictures of identity become limiting and must be shed; the worn out beliefs and ideas of who we are return to compost so that a more essential self can emerge. Constantly cycling between inbreathe, creating life anew, and out breathe, letting it all go, surrendering to the mystery.
Join us for a unique weekend of communal exploration with cannabis, breathwork and creative art making. We will drop into the interior of our own being and inquire into center of the heart – what needs to shed or what is trying to blossom so that I might live my most essential truth? We will bring our findings to the circle and listen for the pulse our communal heart — the One Heart being a tapestry of the many hearts, wiser than the individual. Together we return home to our larger Self.
This is an extraordinary opportunity to experience a legal and professionally held psychedelic experience within a community of fellow seekers. Alchemical Art is partnering with CannaCocoon for this weekend event. Day one is a breath work and cannabis ceremony facilitated by Lani and Chris Lee. And on day two, we explore and reflect on the learnings of the medicine day through an Alchemical Art integrative process.
Cannabis is a psychedelic medicine?
If you are like me, you might find this idea surprising. But I can tell you first hand that when held in a ceremonial or medicinal context, cannabis is a potent teacher, opening portals to personal and collective terrain, just like the classic psychedelic medicines.
Can’t I just do this at home and get the same experience?
Probably not. A facilitated medicine ceremony allows the journeyer to drop in more deeply and allow the process to unfold. This circle brings the added benefit of Chris Lee, a sound magician, who will create in vivo music, following the pulse of the room. Lani will support you in a simple breathing pattern that brings yet another tool for opening the portals toward Home. Felicia will guide you in a full day of creative integration where you will steep in the questions and learnings of the ceremony. And the community of fellow travelers brings another potency where we can support and learn from each other.
